Follow Up Consultations

Investment: $65-$160

Follow up consultations are designed to review each of your goals or symptoms, ensuring your progress and improvement. Treatment changes can be made at this time. This type of consultation can be done in person or through telemedicine. It is also available to any of our patients with acute concerns like recent injury, sudden change or new symptoms. We also know that goals can change and this type of appointment is a way to review and reframe treatment plans as needed.

Acupuncture*

Investment: $115

Acupuncture is based in principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine to remove blockages and promote optimal flow of energy or qi (“chi”) within the body. A unique protocol is tailored to your symptoms and their root cause, and after the points have been administered, time is allowed to shift and re-balance the body. Acupuncture can be effective for reducing pain and headaches, improving digestion and sleep, promoting fertility and inducing labor to name a few.

B-Vitamin Injections*

Investment: $50-$60

B-vitamin injections are small volume injections administered into a muscle (shoulder, hip) to deliver vitamins directly into the tissue to absorb into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract.

Different vitamins can be used for different conditions. Vitamin B6, for example, can be used to treat PMS, while vitamin B12 can be used for boosting energy levels. Depending on the patient, these injections can be given over a 4 week course or on an as-needed basis.

Patients with a compromised digestive system (celiac disease, crohn’s, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome) or taking certain medications that lowers vitamin levels can benefit from B-vitamin injections.

Prolotherapy (Regenerative) Injections*

Investment: $100-$140

Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection technique. Using a solution containing anesthetic, dextrose, B12 and other ingredients, we stimulate repair in a joint, tendon, ligament or muscle.

The solution stimulates collagen repair and can help with osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis). Patients with concerns such as rotator cuff shoulder injuries, recurring ankle strains or sprains, lower back pain and/or degenerative disc disease can benefit from Prolotherapy. Prolozone is a gas that is used as a stronger stimulant for repair, usually in combination with Prolotherapy. It’s commonly used in joints like knees, hips and the lower back.

IV Therapy*

Investment: $150+

Intravenous injections are larger volume injections that go directly into the bloodstream. IV therapy is recommended for patients who are very depleted in electrolytes, fluid volume or vitamins. Depending on the patients needs, minerals can be used in addition to B-vitamins.

Vitamin C is a common ingredient in an intravenous injection. High dose Vitamin C can help with immune conditions such as frequent colds and flus, allergies, eczema and more. Vitamin C can also be used as an adjunctive cancer care treatment, meaning we use it in addition to the chemotherapy, radiation or surgery, if recommended by the patient’s oncologist.

Patients with compromised digestive function can benefit from IV therapy as the large volume of vitamins is delivered directly into the bloodstream.

*Consultation and assessment with a Naturopathic Doctor is required prior to receiving acupuncture and all injection therapies to ensure these are the right treatments for you. We do take referrals directly from Chiropractors and Physiotherapists or other Naturopathic Doctors for these services.
